MINSK, 6 November (BelTA) – Belarus’ Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Aleinik met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Sajjad Haider Khan on the occasion of presentation of copies of his credentials, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The parties discussed Belarus-Pakistan cooperation in politics, trade, economy and humanitarian matters. They emphasized the need to significantly expand bilateral trade and step up cooperation in manufacturing, agriculture and pharmaceutics through inter-ministerial working groups.
Top on the agenda were preparation and conduct of the upcoming session of the Belarus-Pakistan intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation.
The parties also exchanged views on their interaction in international organizations.
