Pakistani PM plants tree near Minsk's Palace of Independence

MINSK, 11 April (BelTA) - Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif planted a tree in the Alley of Honorary Guests near the Palace of Independence in Minsk, BelTA has learned.

Shehbaz Sharif is currently in Belarus on an official visit. Following the talks with Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko, the prime minister took part in a traditional tree-planting ceremony in the Alley of Honorary Guests near the Palace of Independence.

The Belarusian leader participated in the ceremony.

Attending the event was also President of the Pakistan Muslim League, former Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif. He engaged in discussions following the conclusion of the official part of the talks.
