Over RUB3bn to be earmarked for Union State programs in 2018

MINSK, 18 January (BelTA) – More than RUB3 billion will be allocated for the Union State programs in 2018, State Secretary of the Belarus-Russia Union State Grigory Rapota told the media prior to a meeting with representatives of the Belarusian governmental customers of the programs in defense, security, law enforcement, military-technical cooperation and defense industry, BelTA has learned.

“All in all, we will implement 11 Union State programs in 2018. Over RUB3 billion will be earmarked to implement them in 2018. Another program is in the pipeline. It might be adopted within the next two to three months,” Grigory Rapota said.

He also stressed that the Union State programs are highly efficient. “Fro example, a program results in an innovative product.
