MINSK, 22 June (BelTA) – More than 98,000 foreigners have visited Belarus without visas since the beginning of the year, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee.
From 1 January 2026, a total of 98,306 foreign nationals from 38 countries included in the visa-free list have arrived in Belarus. The majority of travelers came from Belarus’ neighboring countries: Lithuania, Latvia and Poland.
All in all, since 15 April 2022, a total of 1,356,475 residents of Europe have visited Belarus. Of these, 433,473 foreigners arrived from Latvia, 698,444 from Lithuania, and 150,430 from Poland. Under the expanded visa-free regime for 35 European states, introduced on 19 July 2024, 74,128 people have entered Belarus.
The State Border Committee recalled that the head of state decided to extend visa-free entry for citizens of 38 European countries through 31 December 2026.
