Olympic Committees of Belarus, Bahrain discuss cooperation

MINSK, 8 July (BelTA) - A delegation of Belarus’ NOC visited the Kingdom of Bahrain on 3-7 July to discuss cooperation in sport between the Republic of Belarus and the Kingdom of Bahrain and mutually beneficial projects aimed at promoting bilateral relations, BelTA learned from the press service of the National Olympic Committee of Belarus.

The delegation met with His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa’s personal adviser and KHK Sports President Mohammed Shahid, Secretary General of the Bahrain Olympic Committee Mohamed Hasan Ali Al Nusuf, Vice President of the Bahrain Football Association Shaikh Khaled bin Salman Al Khalifa, President of the Al Khalidiya Football Club Mahmood Janahi, President of the Bahrain Mixed Martial Arts Federation Mohammed Ali Qamber and other representatives of the kingdom's sports industry.

During the visit, the parties discussed mutually beneficial projects to develop and promote sport and agreed to exchange best practices and hold joint events.
