New head of EU Delegation to Belarus nominated

MINSK, 10 July (BelTA) - Federica Mogherini, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice-President of the European Commission, announced a number of senior nominations on 9 July, BelTA learned from the website of the European External Action Service (EEAS).

Andrea Wiktorin, the current head of the EU Delegation to Belarus, has been nominated as head of the EU Delegation to Armenia. Dirk Schuebel, who is currently serving as Head of the EEAS Russia Division, has been nominated to head the EU Delegation to Belarus.

All in all, the list includes 43 nominations. They will be formally appointed after the agréments are granted.
