Negotiation marathon. Lukashenko meets with foreign counterparts in Bishkek

BISHKEK, 31 August (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko held a series of meetings with foreign counterparts during his working visit to Kyrgyzstan, BelTA has learned.

Among those the Belarusian leader spoke with were Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan, President Emomali Rahmon of Tajikistan, Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khürelsükh, and President of the Council of Ministers of Togo Faure Essozimna Gnassingbé. The corresponding footage was published by the Pul Pervogo Telegram channel.

As BelTA previously reported, Aleksandr Lukashenko attended the official opening ceremony of the 6th World Nomad Games in Bishkek, on the sidelines of which he held meetings with foreign counterparts.

The Belarusian leader is set to attend a summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Bishkek on 1 September. The summit is timed to coincide with the 25th anniversary of the organization.
