National Assembly of Venezuela establishes Venezuela-Belarus friendship group

MINSK, 13 October (BelTA) – The National Assembly of Venezuela has established a Venezuela-Belarus friendship group, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During a solemn ceremony dedicated to this event, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Venezuela Andrei Molchan met with Second Vice-President of the National Assembly America Pérez, Chairman of the Venezuela-Belarus parliamentary friendship group Mario Silva García and Deputy Chair of this group María Gabriela Vegas.

Andrei Molchan and the leadership of the Venezuelan Parliament noted that the establishment of the friendship group seeks to strengthen cooperation between the two countries and to build on positive momentum achieved since 2006.
