CHISINAU, 26 May (BelTA) - The Moldovan Government approved the draft law on ratification of the agreement with Belarus on mutual protection of classified information which was signed in Minsk on 26 March 2015, BelTA has learned.

The document establishes the legislative framework for the protection of classified information in Belarus and vice versa, said Moldova Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Natalia Gherman.

The ratification of the agreement will contribute to the further development of good relations between Belarus and Moldova in various areas, improve the communication between government departments in different socio-economic areas, which will strengthen the cooperation between the two countries, including in economy.

The agreement on the mutual protection of classified information between Belarus and Moldova has been concluded for an unlimited period and shall enter into force on the date of receipt of the last notification by the parties on the fulfillment of all domestic legal procedures necessary for the document to enter into force.
