MINSK, 28 May (BelTA) - Minsk and Krasnodar have signed a plan for bilateral cooperation in trade, economy and science in 2018-2021. The document was signed following the talks between Minsk Vice Mayor Igor Yurkevitch and Deputy Head of Krasnodar Dmitry Logvinenko, BelTA has learned.
The administrations of the two cities will share information on promotion and exhibition events in trade and economy, including international ones, and post it on official websites, and consider participation in such activities, with the involvement of representatives of the business community. One of the specific proposals included in the plan involves the possible organization of Kuban Goods stands in the Radziwilovsky stores network. In addition, the parties agreed on the need to exchange information on investment projects in the pipeline in two cities.
The parties will consider the possibility to upgrade the passenger fleet of Krasnodar with Belarusian vehicles, including with trolleybuses and tram cars manufactured by Belkommunmash. The municipal services of both cities are interested in the experience of colleagues in the areas of road surface repair, housing, water supply and construction with the use of energy-saving technologies.
The plan provides for steps to strengthen cooperation in the fields of health, social and cultural affairs: exchange of information on international festivals, events to celebrate anniversaries and other important dates, invitation to attend the city day celebrations in Krasnodar and Minsk, establishing direct contacts between theatrical and concert organizations, cultural and recreational institutions and further education, organization of tours of creative collectives, theatrical groups, promoting media coverage of cooperation in trade and economy, science and humanitarian affairs.
