MINSK, 9 January (BelTA) – Foreign Minister of Belarus Vladimir Makei met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Italy to Belarus Stefano Bianchi on 9 January, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Belarus.

“The parties discussed the bilateral and international agenda, paying special attention to the issues of political, trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and Italy as well as on Minsk-Brussels line,” the press service noted.

The sides also exchanged opinions regarding the possibility of joint steps and projects in order to give additional momentum to the bilateral cooperation in certain areas.

The Italian diplomat presented the copies of the credentials to the Foreign Minister of Belarus.
