MINSK, 15 October (BelTA) – The Belarusian side is open for further interaction with the OSCE and the Council of Europe in certain fields, spokesman for the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dmitry Mironchik told media on 15 October, BelTA informs.

“The Belarusian side is open for further interaction with the OSCE and the Council of Europe in certain fields. In particular, such interaction was discussed at the meeting of Belarus’ Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei and Director of the OSCE/ODIHR Michael Georg Link,” Dmitry Mironchik said.

Speaking about the possibility of the abolition of sanctions against Belarus, the spokesman said that they have proved to be inefficient and futile. “We expect that they will be fully abolished and hope that it will happen as soon as possible,” Dmitry Mironchik concluded.
