MINSK, 17 April (BelTA) – Belarus Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei met with political directors of the ministries of foreign affairs of the Weimar Triangle countries Hans Dieter Lucas (Germany), Jaroslaw Bratkiewicz (Poland), and Nicolas de Riviere (France), BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“The participants of the meeting discussed the current issues of the Belarus-EU cooperation, the situation in the region, and further development of the Eastern Partnership Initiative including the preparations for the Riga Summit,” the press service explained.

Belarus’ Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Alena Kupchyna also held a meeting with the delegation of the Weimar Triangle countries.
