MINSK, 3 September (BelTA) – Issues of regional security in the OSCE were highlighted at a meeting between Belarus’ Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei and Coordinator of the Federal Government of Germany for social cooperation with Russia, Central Asia and the Eastern Partnership member states Gernot Erler on 3 September, BelTA learnt from the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The meeting took place on the initiative of the German side. “The meeting focused on the interaction between Belarus and the European Union, as well as issues of regional security, taking into account German presidency in the OSCE in 2016,” the ministry informed.
The parties also paid attention to the prospects of cooperation between the EU and Eurasian Economic Union.
