Lukashenko: Young specialists need a helping hand, not coddling

MINSK, 3 September (BelTA) – Young specialists in Belarus should not be pampered, but they should receive support when and where it is needed, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said during a meeting with Education Minister Andrei Ivanets, BelTA has learned.

“I asked for information on how they are doing and what else we need to do for them. This does not mean we should coddle them. No one coddled me, and no one coddled you either. We scrambled through life on our own. But help should be given where needed,” the head of state said.
