Lukashenko: Uzbekistan will continue steady growth under experienced leadership of Mirziyoyev

MINSK, 25 October (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko congratulated Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on his re-election to the highest state post, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

"A convincing victory clearly demonstrates your high authority, and is an eloquent and indisputable evidence of the great trust of voters. The people fully reaffirmed their commitment to the course towards building a strong, independent, modern state," the message of greetings reads.

Aleksandr Lukashenko expressed confidence that under the experienced leadership of Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Uzbekistan will continue growing steadily, bolstering its economic potential and positions in the international arena.

"I hope that soon we will have the opportunity to meet to discuss the current and future areas of bilateral cooperation," the Belarusian leader said.

The head of state wished the Uzbekistan president good health, inexhaustible energy and successes in implementing the plans for the benefit of the Motherland.
