Lukashenko urges to restore agrarian service organizations in Belarus

MALORITA DISTRICT, 15 August (BelTA) – We need to restore the network of district agrarian service organizations in all regions of Belarus, President Alexander Lukashenko said during the visit to Maloritskaya Raiagropromtekhnika on 15 August, BelTA has learned.

“We should not destroy the infrastructure which we once had. These organizations should be restored in all districts. We need to expand the services sector. If you offer normal prices and quality, private companies will be interested too,” the President said.

Alexander Lukashenko stressed that such service organizations are focused both on agricultural enterprises and the entire region, including farmers and other people. Speaking about the role of district agrarian service organizations, the President said that heads of district executive committees should use them as a strong management tool. He also reminded about the instruction to restore mobile motorized construction brigades and engage them in the construction sector in full.

According to the President, district agrarian service organizations need to offer competitive and attractive prices for prospective customers. Besides, it is essential to expand the range of services.

During the visit to Maloritskaya Raiagropromtekhnika Alexander Lukashenko criticized the state the production premises are in. “Everything should be put in order by 1 January,” the President said.

Alexander Lukashenko also stressed that certain unused production premises are sold at auctions to attract private investors. However, nothing is done to use these premises for new kinds of works and services.

During the trip to Malorita District the President also visited the enterprise Savushkino. Management and the organization of the production process differ at this enterprise. It operates in the black and is growing. “We see ideal order and responsibility at this enterprise. Technological and personnel discipline is a priority,” the Belarusian leader stressed.

The President spoke not only about this enterprise but also about less successful agricultural organizations of the region and the ways to raise their efficiency. The President asked about various technological processes.

During the visit to one of the farms of Savushkino Alexander Lukashenko was given a cow as a present for his homestead farm.
