Lukashenko to hold negotiations with Cuban president in Minsk on 25 June

MINSK, 24 June (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko is expected to meet with Cuba President Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez in Minsk on 25 June. The Cuban president will be in Belarus on an official visit, the press service of the Belarusian head of state told BelTA.

The meeting of the two leaders will take place at the Palace of Independence. Aleksandr Lukashenko and Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez will discuss steps meant to further bolster the bilateral dialogue with a focus on advancing cooperation in trade, economy, science, and technology.

The heads of state will discuss items on the global agenda and the regional one as well as Belarus-Cuba interaction on multilateral platforms.

While in Belarus, the Cuban president is expected to visit mechanical engineering enterprises and pharmaceutical ones in addition to taking part in the Eurasian Economic Forum and a session of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council.
