Lukashenko sends national day greetings to Italy

MINSK, 2 June (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated Italian President Sergio Mattarella on the national day of Italy, Festa della Repubblica, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“The contemporary history of friendly relations between our countries goes back almost three decades. Over this time, our governments, local authorities, companies, institutions, charities and ordinary citizens have gained invaluable experience of cooperation,” the message reads.

The head of state emphasized that today’s reality prompts the countries to take decisive steps to preserve their common heritage through the implementation of meaningful economic and humanitarian projects.
