Lukashenko sends national day greetings to DPRK

MINSK, 9 September (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended greetings to President of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) Kim Jong Un as the country celebrates Day of the Foundation of the Republic, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The head of state noted that under the wise leadership of great leaders, whose names are forever etched in history, the DPRK has achieved significant success. This is convincingly demonstrated by the rising well-being of the population and the increased rates of production and economic development, he emphasized.

“It is gratifying to note the active expansion of ties between Minsk and Pyongyang. I recall with special warmth the official visit to your beautiful capital in March 2026. It is encouraging that all the agreements reached during the fruitful meetings are being implemented on time for the benefit of our peoples. I look forward to continuing our constructive dialogue,” the message reads.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Kim Jong Un good health and new achievements, and peace and prosperity to the people of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.
