Lukashenko sends Independence Day greetings to Ukraine

MINSK, 24 August (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has extended greetings to Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko as the country celebrates Independence Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“I am convinced that good and friendly relations between our nations will keep being a reliable foundation to promote bilateral cooperation in all the fields,” the message reads.

The head of state noted that the intensive interstate dialogue and the use of potential of the Belarus-Ukraine cooperation are fully in the interests of the two countries.

Alexander Lukashenko wished Petro Poroshenko good health, inexhaustible energy and successful fulfillment of all undertakings. The Belarusian leader wished the citizens of brotherly Ukraine happiness, peace and prosperity.
