Lukashenko sends Independence Day greetings to Kyrgyzstan

MINSK, 31 August (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has extended greetings to Kyrgyzstan President Sooronbay Jeenbekov as the country celebrates Independence Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“Over the past decades, relying on historical ties of friendship, our countries have made significant progress in the development of the entire range of bilateral relations and have established effective cooperation within the framework of integration structures,” the greetings say.

Alexander Lukashenko is confident that by joint efforts Belarus and Kyrgyzstan will continue to build up the potential of bilateral cooperation, expand the political, economic and cultural dialogue in the interests of the two nations.

The head of state wished good health, wellbeing, success in work to the Kyrgyzstan leader, and happiness and prosperity to the people of Kyrgyzstan.
