MINSK, 10 August (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended congratulations to President of the Republic of Ecuador Daniel Noboa on the country’s national holiday, Independence Day, BelTA learned from the Belarusian leader’s press service.

The head of state welcomed the intensification of political dialogue between Minsk and Quito and reaffirmed the commitment to unlocking the full potential of Belarus-Ecuador relations.

“I am confident that the complementarity of our economies and both nations’ shared aspiration for diversification – through the development of new industries and stronger trade ties – will enable us to significantly increase bilateral trade,” the message of congratulations reads.

Given Ecuador’s participation in Eurasian integration blocs, the country can count on Belarus as a stable and reliable partner in the heart of Europe – not only in political and trade-economic spheres but also in scientific, technical, and humanitarian cooperation, the president assured.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Daniel Noboa good health and success in his high office, as well as peace and prosperity to the people of Ecuador.
