Lukashenko sends Independence Day greetings to Belgium

MINSK, 21 July (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to King Philippe of Belgium as the country celebrates Independence Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

According to the head of state, Belarus shows great interest in cooperation with Belgium. “Close and fruitful contacts between educational institutions, public organizations and companies, long-standing cooperation in the humanitarian sector set the right framework to enhance the level and improve the quality of relations between Minsk and Brussels,” the message of greetings runs.

Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed that in the time of temporary difficulties caused by the pandemic it is of crucial importance to concentrate joint efforts on using the existing potential in various sectors and preserving valuable trade relations and human connections.
