Lukashenko sends greetings to participants of ENECE economic integration conference

MINSK, 26 October (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has sent greetings to the participants of the international conference “Laying the foundation in the ENECE region for economic integration and sustainable development towards 2030”, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The head of state noted that the conference will focus on the interaction in trade, transport, energy sector, green economy, innovations. All these issues are of paramount importance for the member states of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe.

“Being in the geographic center of Europe, Belarus is a fervent advocate of expanding trans-European ties. We are committed to interregional integration, promotion of the “integration of integrations” idea, creation of the common market stretching from Lisbon to Vladivostok,” the message of greetings reads.

Alexander Lukashenko stressed that the economically and politically strong Eurasian region united by the solid ties of mutually beneficial cooperation of interstate associations and countries is a key factor of global sustainability and prosperity.

The President is convinced that the conference will take place in a creative atmosphere, and its recommendations will help utilize a bigger potential of the ENECE region, promote partnership and integration for the benefit of nations.
