Lukashenko sends birthday greetings to Turkmenistan president

MINSK, 29 June (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent a letter of birthday greetings to Turkmenistan President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“For many years your inherent integrity, strategic thinking and leadership have served the good cause of strengthening the statehood, economic potential and authority of Turkmenistan in the international arena,” the message of congratulations reads.

Aleksandr Lukashenko reaffirmed commitment to promoting fruitful cooperation between Minsk and Ashgabat to the benefit of the peoples of both countries.

“I am sure that your personal involvement will give a significant impetus to the further development of bilateral relations, the successful implementation of new joint plans and initiatives,” the president stressed.
