MINSK, 5 October (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has sent a letter of birthday greetings to Tajikistan President Emomali Rahmon, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“Your many-year work aimed at the enhancement of peace and accord, improvement of living standards in Tajikistan, and promotion of the authority of the republic deserves profound respect,” the felicitation message reads.

The president praised the existing level of Belarus-Tajikistan relations relying on the traditions of friendship, support and mutual understanding, positive dynamics of the trade and economic cooperation. “I am convinced that your versatile activities in the highest government post will help expand multidimensional dialogue between Minsk and Dushanbe,” the Belarusian leader emphasized.
