Lukashenko sends birthday greetings to Serbia president

MINSK, 5 March (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended birthday greetings to Serbia President Aleksandar Vucic, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“Among today's politicians you stand out thanks to such distinguishing features as persistence in defense of national interests, fidelity to principles, shrewdness and patriotism. The support of millions of Serbian citizens testifies to the effectiveness of the political course to strengthen the economic potential of the country, protect its territorial integrity and sovereignty, and achieve progress in the face of serious global challenges,” the message of greetings reads.

The head of state stressed that Minsk attaches great importance to further significant deepening of fraternal relations with Belgrade. “I believe that more active bilateral cooperation will contribute to the sustainable development of Belarus and Serbia in difficult circumstances and meet the hopes of the people of our states. I count on your personal attention to maintaining the interstate dialogue at all levels. I will be glad to welcome you to the hospitable Belarusian land at any time in order to continue our substantive talks on a wide range of issues,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
