Lukashenko sends birthday greetings to SCO secretary general

MINSK, 31 August (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent birthday greetings to Secretary General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Vladimir Norov, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“Being at the head of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, you have been making a considerable contribution to the successful accomplishment of the complicated and responsible tasks on the SCO agenda,” the head of state stressed.

Aleksandr Lukashenko stated that in today's world the SCO has firmly established itself as an authoritative participant of the most important international processes, including ensuring regional security, restoring the world economy, development of business, scientific and cultural relations, fighting the pandemic coronavirus.
