MINSK, 21 August (BelTA) - Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has sent a letter of birthday greetings to Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“You are doing a lot for the promotion of ideals of kindness, mercy, and accord in the society, are making a big contribution to the development of peaceful constructive dialogue between various religious denominations and states,” the felicitation message reads.

Alexander Lukashenko expressed confidence that the tireless work of Karekin IIwill help promote spiritual unity, friendship, all-round cooperation of Belarusian and Armenian peoples.
