Lukashenko sends 75th founding anniversary greetings to China

MINSK, 1 October (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated Chairman of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping on the 75th anniversary of the founding of the PRC, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“The past three quarters of the century will go down in the multi-thousand-year history of China as a time of great victories, patriotic consolidation and spectacular progress. During this period, your state has achieved truly outstanding results, demonstrating to the world a striking example of dedication, perseverance and hard work, which have become the key to success in political, social, economic, cultural and humanitarian dimensions,” the message of congratulations reads.

The head of state remarked that modern China is one of the main players on the world stage, the largest industrial power with colossal human, scientific and technological potential.

“As the head of the Communist Party, you are confidently leading the People's Republic of China to achieve the goal of the second century - building a modern and powerful socialist state. The active interaction between Minsk and Beijing in absolutely all areas confirms the inviolability of the Belarus-China friendship and shows the potential of all-weather and comprehensive strategic partnership,” the president said.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Xi Jinping good spirits and further success in his work, and the fraternal Chinese people – peace, well-being and prosperity.
