MINSK, 5 October (BelTA) – There are big prospects in Belarus’ cooperation with Vietnam and Saudi Arabia, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko said as he received the credentials from the ambassadors of these states on 5 October, BelTA has learned.
Addressing Vietnam’s Ambassador to Belarus Le Anh, Alexander Lukashenko noted that friendly relations between the two nations that took start in the Soviet Union times would never be broken off. “As a result of comprehensive and progressive development they have reached a qualitatively new level. We still have a lot to do together in the future,” the President stressed.
Receiving the credentials from Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Belarus Abdulrahman Al-Rassi, Alexander Lukashenko stressed Belarus’ interest in establishing an all-round dialogue with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, one of the recognized leaders in the Arab world. “Although the relations between our states are built from scratch (perhaps it is for the better), they have great prospects. First of all, in the development of economic and investment cooperation with Riyadh,” the Belarusian leader noted.
