Lukashenko reassigns officials across four ministries

MINSK, 14 August (BelTA) – While making personnel decisions on 14 August Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko reassigned officials across four ministries, BelTA has learned.

The head of state approved the appointment of Yelena Bogdan as First Deputy Healthcare Minister. Previously, she served as Deputy State Secretary – member of the Standing Committee of the Union State (2023-2025).

By presidential decision, Ivan Vezhnovets will transfer from his position as First Deputy Minister of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade to the same position at the Economy Ministry.

Anton Alekseyev, former Director of OAO Giprosvyaz, was approved as Deputy Minister of Communications and Informatization.

The Agriculture and Food Ministry will gain two new deputy ministers - Vitaly Kulak (previously Chairman of the Kamenets District Executive Committee) and Aleksandr Yakovchits (former Deputy Chairman of the Belarusian State Food Industry Concern Belgospishcheprom).

Additionally, the head of state approved the new Director of the State Symbols Department at the Finance Ministry. The position will be filled by Vitaly Garmashuk, previously Head of the Financial and Logistics Directorate at the central office of the State Forensic Examinations Committee.
