MINSK, 1 April (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko had a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
The heads of state congratulated each other on the upcoming holiday - the Day of Unity of the Peoples of Belarus and Russia.
Aleksandr Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin discussed the state and prospects for the development of bilateral relations.
A separate subject was the situation around Ukraine.
During the conversation, the presidents touched upon other topical issues of cooperation.
