Lukashenko, Putin hit the ice of Strelna Arena for ice hockey match

ST PETERSBURG, 29 December (BelTA) – The presidents of Belarus and Russia, Aleksandr Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin, hit the ice of Strelna Arena after the talks in St. Petersburg, BelTA has learned.

The heads of state are playing for one team but in different fives. Aleksandr Lukashenko has donned the jersey No.01, Vladimir Putin – No.11.

According to the Telegram channel Pul pervogo, the teams playing in the Whites v Reds match also feature Vyacheslav Fetisov, Valery Kamensky, Alexei Kasatonov, Pavel Bure, Sergey Fedorov, Ilya Kovalchuk, Alexei Zhamnov and other famous Soviet and Russian hockey players.
