MINSK, 1 September (BelTA) – A telephone conversation between Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin took place on 30 August, BelTA learnt from the presidential press service.
The heads of state discussed the results of the Minsk summit, the humanitarian situation in Ukraine and economic issues of mutual interest.
On the same day the Belarusian head of state had phone talks with Chairman of the Russian Government Dmitry Medvedev on the bilateral issues of current importance.
