Lukashenko: Political dialogue with Vietnam is very important for Belarus

MINSK, 3 February (BelTA) – On behalf of the Belarusian people and himself Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has congratulated Nguyen Phu Trong, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the President of Vietnam, on the Communist Party of Vietnam Foundation Anniversary, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“Under your leadership the country has made much progress in its economic development, and achieved considerable success in improving the living standards of people and strengthening the country’s positive role on the international arena,” the message reads.

The head of state emphasized that it is very important for Belarus to maintain an active political dialogue with Vietnam and to expand bilateral cooperation in all the areas of mutual interest.
