Lukashenko okays appointment of district-level officials

MINSK, 17 April (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has given the green-light to the appointment of heads of local executive and administrative bodies, BelTA has learned.

Director of Alekseyevichi-Agro in Drogichin District Sergei Pachko has been promoted to the post of Chairman of the Drogichin District Executive Committee.

Aleksandr Pachko has been approved for the position of Chairman of the Stolin District Executive Committee. His previous role was Chairman of the Kobrin District Executive Committee.

The president gave the green-light to appoint Aleksandr Moiseyuk Chairman of the Kobrin District Executive Committee. He previously headed the Kobrin District Council of Deputies.

Aleksandr Shchekovich, Deputy Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus, has been approved to lead the Sovetsky District Administration of Minsk.
