Lukashenko hopes for further dialogue, cooperation with Germany

MINSK, 3 October (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended greetings to Federal President of the Federal Republic of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier as the country celebrates German Unity Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The head of state noted that for modern Germany the reunification in 1990 was a momentous event that had a significant impact on the further development of the entire European region.

“Our states are reliable partners that share basic values and have common interests, including in strengthening security in Europe and the world, improving the well-being of citizens on the principles of sustainable development. I hope for further bilateral dialogue full of new content and fruitful cooperation in various areas of mutual interest,” the message runs.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished strong health and every success on the political arena to Frank-Walter Steinmeier and peace and prosperity to Germany.
