Lukashenko highly values Modi's commitment to strengthening Belarus-India relations

MINSK, 17 September (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended birthday wishes to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi as he celebrates his 75th birthday, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“In Belarus, you are known as an outstanding statesman who mobilizes all efforts for the development of your homeland and wields significant authority on the international stage,” the head of state emphasized. "Under your leadership, crucial political and socio-economic reforms are being implemented to ensure India’s stable progress and prosperity of its citizens.”

Aleksandr Lukashenko emphasized that he highly values the prime minister's commitment to strengthening Belarusian-Indian relations which are founded on friendship, trust, shared interests, and mutually beneficial cooperation. The president looks forward to continuing constructive dialogue across a wide range of areas, both on bilateral track and in multilateral forums.

“I fondly recall our recent meeting at the Tianjin Summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and look forward to hosting an Indian delegation led by you in Minsk at a convenient time to discuss practical ways to realize the potential of our interstate cooperation," Aleksandr Lukashenko said.

The Belarusian president wished Narendra Modi a long and happy life and new achievements for the benefit of India and its people.
