MINSK, 31 March (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko gave an interview to Bloomberg L.P. on 31 March, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The interview was hosted by London-based reporter for Bloomberg Television Ryan Chilcote. He interviewed Alexander Lukashenko as a CNN correspondent in 2001.

The President answered a number of questions concerning the regulation of the situation in Ukraine after the Normandy Four meeting in Minsk.

Alexander Lukashenko spoke about the role of leading global players in the regulation of the Ukrainian situation and the maintenance of the military and political stability in the world in general.

The interview also focused on the development prospects of the Eurasian Economic Union, the currency integration among its members.

The head of state expressed his opinion about certain aspects of the current economic, internal political situation, including in the context of the forthcoming important political events in the country.

Alexander Lukashenko answered a number of personal questions.
