Lukashenko extends Statehood Day greetings to Serbia

MINSK, 15 February (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has sent greetings to Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic as the country celebrates Statehood Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“Your country has reached considerable success in strengthening your independence and sovereignty, economic progress and people’s wellbeing,” the head of state said.

Alexander Lukashenko expressed confidence that comprehensive fruitful cooperation of Belarus and Serbia, which is based on mutual trust and support and marking 25 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations, would further serve the interests of the two states.
