Lukashenko extends Independence Day greetings to Armenia

MINSK, 21 September (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has sent greetings to Armenia President Armen Sarkissian as the country celebrates Independence Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“Belarus remains a reliable friend for Armenia and is ready to undertake all necessary steps in developing interstate dialogue. I am confident that our countries, relying on solid traditions of mutual support and partnership, will continue building up political, trade, economic and humanitarian cooperation both bilaterally and multilaterally,” the message of greetings runs.

Alexander Lukashenko wished strong health and every success to Armen Sarkissian and peace and wellbeing to the Armenian people.
