Lukashenko extends Freedom Day greetings to South Africa

MINSK, 27 April (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to President of the Republic of South Africa Cyril Ramaphosa as the country celebrates Freedom Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“Strength of spirit, courage and determination in defending your interests have always been distinctive features of the glorious people of South Africa,” the message of greetings reads.

The head of state noted that Belarus attaches great importance to further expansion of mutually beneficial ties with South Africa in industry, agriculture, education and science and to intensification of humanitarian contacts.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Cyril Ramaphosa strong health and new successes, and also peace and prosperity to all South Africans.
