Lukashenko extends congratulations to new Kazakhstan president

MINSK, 21 March (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has sent greetings to Kassym-Jomart Tokayev who assumed office of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“Belarusian people know you as a wise politician who has won the respect of the people of Kazakhstan long time ago. During our recent meeting in Minsk you have reaffirmed readiness for further strengthening of cooperation between the two countries,” the message of greetings says.

The head of state is convinced that the Belarusian-Kazakh comprehensive fruitful cooperation would continue developing in the spirit of strategic partnership and trust.

Alexander Lukashenko wished Kassym-Jomart Tokayev strong health, wellbeing and new achievements at the highest state post.
