Lukashenko extends condolences to France over Nice terror attack

MINSK, 15 July (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko sent condolences to French President Francois Hollande, the French people, relatives and friends of the victims of the terrorist attack in Nice on 14 July, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“It was with great pain that Belarus learned the news about the ruthless terrorist attack in Nice on 14 July, which is an important day for France. The attack killed a large number of people and left many wounded. The presence of women and children among the victims emphasizes the inhumanity of the masterminds and perpetrators of terrorist attacks,” the message reads.

“Belarus strongly condemns terrorism and extremism in all forms and manifestations. Nothing is more important than peace and accord in society, which are the basis of sustainable development and well-being of every state,” Alexander Lukashenko stressed.
