Lukashenko: EU may collapse as world pillar

MINSK, 18 December (BelTA) – The European Union may collapse as one of the world’s pillars, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said in his Address to the Belarusian People and Parliament on 18 December, BelTA has learned.

“The world has three pillars: China, Russia, and the United States. I actually consider the European Union a fourth one. Yet, given their internal discord and hysterical demands, this pole may collapse!” the head of state said.

According to the president, India is also emerging as another global pole of attraction.
