Lukashenko demands higher responsibility of top executives

MINSK, 28 April (BelTA) – It is essential to raise the responsibility of top-ranking executives at all levels. The statement was made by Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko at the session held on 28 April to discuss the development of Minsk, Presidential Aide – Chief Inspector for Minsk Alexander Yakobson told reporters, BelTA has learned.

“The head of state knows and sees the potential of Minsk and objectively demands to raise the efficiency of the personnel at all levels. If a company director does not cope with the job requirements, corresponding executive authorities should consider the issue because failures to hit major forecast targets, irresponsibility and carelessness among workers are inadmissible. These issues, from neglected territories to the failure to hit forecast targets, untimely payment of salaries and payment for energy resources are inadmissible,” Alexander Yakobson said.

“Therefore, the head of state demands to raise the responsibility of workers and top executives at all levels. We must fulfill this instruction using the leverage of the government and at the local level. We should see what is going on in the personnel, people will tell us what weaknesses these teams of workers have,” Alexander Yakobson said. “That is why, the personnel policy should be toughened in order to use our personnel potential to solve all issues and raise the efficiency of the teams of workers,” he added.
