Lukashenko congratulates Daniel Ortega on victory in Nicaraguan presidential election

MINSK, 18 November (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko congratulated Jose Daniel Ortega Saavedra on his convincing victory in the election of the President of the Republic of Nicaragua, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

"For decades, you have consistently enjoyed the broad support of the people of your country. I am confident that under your wise leadership Nicaragua will make significant progress in social and economic development, and that long-term friendly relations with Belarus will continue to expand and strengthen, opening new horizons for mutually beneficial partnership," the message of congratulations reads. 

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished good health and successes in fulfilling a responsible state mission to Jose Daniel Ortega Saavedra, and peace and prosperity to the Nicaraguan people.
