MINSK, 24 December (BelTA) – During a report to Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko, Defense Minister Viktor Khrenin discussed personnel matters in the Armed Forces. Viktor Khrenin made the announcement in a conversation with journalists, according to BelTA.

“Personnel matters remain under the direct purview of the head of state. The president is fully aware of the current situation, the state of personnel, and potential appointments. In our discussion, I presented my detailed vision for possible assignments to specific roles. Ultimately, of course, the final decision rests with the president,” stated the defense minister.
